Our operations

Brunns School is a comprehensive school (grades 1-9) with approximately 525 students. The school is located on Ingarö, a 30-minute bus ride from Slussen. The school works with digital tools and has a very good digital infrastructure.

With respect, joy, and participation, we work with our focus areas: study culture, improving reading skills and mathematics, as well as working with AI and source criticism. You will have a fantastic job with freedom under responsibility, meetings with students, parents, and professional colleagues.

Your role

The role of a teacher in Mathematics/Natural Sciences involves being part of a work team. You are responsible for teaching in your subject and serve as a class mentor. The teaching is for grades 7-9.

As a class mentor, your most important task is to motivate students to study and strengthen their self-confidence and social development. We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and technology in grades 7-9.

Värmdö Municipality uses V-klass as a tool in planning and follow-up work, as well as in contact with parents and students.

As a person, you are sensitive to the students' needs, clear, respectful, and have a great ability to collaborate with both our students and the school's adult staff. You are a driven and engaged teacher who likes to challenge and be challenged, and who has high expectations for your students.

We place great emphasis on social competencies and personal suitability.
