We are now looking for a Senior Lease Negotiator who wants to take overall responsibility for a comprehensive lease portfolio and contribute to long-term cost efficiency in a complex and dynamic operation.

This is initially a consultancy assignment starting immediately. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for the assignment to transition into permanent employment. The client is located in premium offices in Solna, and travel may be required as part of the role.

About the Role

As a Senior Lease Negotiator, you are responsible for managing and developing the lease portfolio by negotiating, renegotiating, and signing new lease agreements. You work strategically to ensure business-like and cost-effective premises solutions that support the organization's goals. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, where you identify savings opportunities, analyze existing contracts, and drive negotiations with property owners. You play a central role in optimizing lease terms, rental levels, and contract structures. In cases of new establishments or changed premises needs, you lead the work through the entire process – from needs analysis and market mapping to negotiation, contract signing, and implementation.

Your Responsibilities

• Negotiate and renegotiate lease agreements for offices, operational premises, and other commercial spaces.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures within the lease portfolio.
• Conduct market and rent analyses to ensure competitive terms.
• Manage and develop relationships with property owners, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that lease agreements comply with current legal and commercial requirements.
• Participate in and lead projects related to premises supply, relocations, and establishments.
• Prepare decision-making materials, economic analyses, and forecasts for management and operations.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in lease negotiation, real estate matters, or commercial contracts.
• Good understanding of the real estate market and commercial lease agreements.
• Documented strong negotiation skills and business acumen.
• Experience with economic analyses and decision-making materials.
• Accustomed to driving complex processes and collaborating with many stakeholders.
