Are you a nurse ready for new challenges? We are now looking for an engaged part-time nurse for Health and Medical Care Hisingen.

You will work night shifts providing health and medical care in ordinary housing, in our care and nursing homes, and within functional support. Every night, at least two nurses depart from each office located at Lillekärr södra, Bror Nilssonsgata, and Svartedalsgatan. We work as a team on Hisingen with a total of 6–7 nurses every night, collaborating between areas as needed. In the work within municipal health and medical care, you work independently and are comfortable conveying security and knowledge, often via telephone. We focus on the individual's needs, participation, and collaborate in a cross-professional team to deliver person-centered care. You should be comfortable prioritizing so that the right patient receives the right care at the right time.

You will work together with a colleague on-site every night and have contact with several people remotely. You are responsible for planned and acute health and medical care interventions for our patients. We have close cooperation with care staff and the security patrol, whom you also mentor and delegate tasks to. The position is part-time, equivalent to 34 hours and 20 minutes of full-time work per week. There are good opportunities for full-time work in the future as well, if desired.

About you

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. You need to have at least 2 years of experience as a nurse, but it may also be relevant if you have shorter experience provided you have worked within municipal health and medical care. Since we work within a large geographical area, a B-class driver's license is required. Experience from municipal primary care is meritorious.

The role of a nurse requires that you can independently overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks. The meeting with the individual and their relatives is an important part of the work; therefore, we consider it important that you are receptive and can understand the other party's needs. To provide the best possible care, you also need to have good collaboration skills, as several people work in teams around the patients. Since a large part of the work takes place in the patient's home, it is important that you feel secure in your role and can build trusting relationships.
