As an employee in the Area of Primary Care Services, Regional Services, you will have the opportunity to work with various tasks. Our area is responsible for service operations within facility maintenance, meals, and logistics.
We primarily provide services at the region's three hospitals in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg, as well as at health centers, public dental care, and regional development departments.
As an employee within Logistics, you work with internal transport tasks such as waste management, mail handling, cargo handling, patient transport, e-service cards, textile handling, and meal delivery.
Our service operations help free up time for healthcare staff to focus on patient care.

Job DescriptionAt the moment, we are looking for you who want to work part-time as a service employee at Karlskoga Hospital.
As an employee within Logistics, the tasks vary during the day depending on which process you are working with. You will, for example, handle and prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the wards. You will inventory and order materials and textiles, unpack and stock various storerooms, and transport patients between different wards and departments. You will have a varied job that includes everything from waste management to delivering goods and laundry to and from wards. Forklift driving and transport by car occur daily.
The work is social, sometimes physically demanding, and always involves significant personal responsibility.
The work takes place in a hospital environment, and you will interact with patients. The operations run from Monday to Sunday, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Starting a new job is not always easy, and we do our very best to make you feel secure and prepared by providing you with a thorough introduction. This internal training also aims to ensure patient safety in a good way.

QualificationsNow we are looking for you who:
- Are at least 18 years old and hold a driver's license, at least class B.
- Speak, read, and write Swedish well.
- Have basic computer skills, meaning you can:
use the most important functions in word processing programs like Microsoft Word and spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel, send, read, and reply to emails in Outlook, and search and manage information on the intranet.
- Are dedicated, empathetic, and flexible.

Due to the importance of ensuring patient safety, all candidates must take a language test during a potential interview.
According to current legal requirements, the position may require a certificate of good conduct (background check).
Note! It is a requirement that you can start work at 06:00 in the morning and be available for weekend shifts. Evening shifts may also occur on certain routes.
