The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer interventions that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve giving older people a secure and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work closely with people and make a difference in their everyday lives? As a support assistant, you will help create security, participation, and development for people with functional variations or mental health issues. We are looking for you who thrive in a varied everyday life, where interaction, structure, and engagement are central.

As a support assistant, you work to provide pedagogical, social, and practical support to people with functional variations in their everyday lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life, and participation in society.

The role includes among other things:

• Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan
• Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other actors
• Documenting interventions in digital systems according to current routines
• Working based on a low-affective approach and with the individual's needs in focus

Housing Area 9 consists of the municipality's service housing for people who belong to the LSS target group. Up to 15 people live in their own apartments, linked to a staff group. We actively work to promote independence, security, and participation based on the individual's needs. The work is scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation. On-call sleeping duty is also included.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and relationships. You are secure, sensitive, and have the ability to adapt your interaction to the needs and conditions of different individuals.

We also see that you have:

• Upper secondary education in care and nursing or child and youth care, or alternatively other education that the employer considers equivalent, such as a 2-year folk high school education as a support assistant at upper secondary level.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

A B-class driver's license may be required depending on the operation.
