ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are currently looking for two dedicated temporary staff members who want to become an important part of the daily life of our male client in Umeå. The role involves supporting regular staff during absences and planned leave, offering you flexible and meaningful work.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 10:00-10:00, 24-hour shift. (Waiting time 8h)

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his 30s with an interest in sports, especially football, computers, and video games. He needs your help with all aspects of his daily life, and the tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Moving from/to bed, permobil, and toilet chair

  • Dressing and undressing as well as personal hygiene

  • Household chores such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and shopping

  • Planning and carrying out trips, activities, and visits

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be responsive, proactive, solution-oriented, and engaged. We prefer a male candidate between 24-50 years old with a genuine interest in helping others, a cheerful disposition, a sense of humor, and an interest in both sports and TV/computer games, as personal suitability is highly valued.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as a personal assistant or in other care work

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Driver's license & Access to a car

Employment level: 2 temporary staff members as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Your application will be read by employees at Aktiv Assistans, the client, and relatives. The selection process is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We warmly welcome your application!

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
