ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Aktiv Assistans are looking for dedicated personal assistants for our client in Umedalen, Umeå. We are seeking two hourly substitutes who will have the opportunity to increase their working hours during the summer when permanent staff are on vacation.

The working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:

• 09:00-17:00

• 09:00-21:00

• 21:00-09:00 (Awake night shift)

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his 30s with an active life and a great interest in various activities, such as going to the cinema, dining out, shopping, and socializing with friends. He participates in day activities three times a week. Due to a herniated disc, he needs support in his daily life, and we are now looking for a personal assistant who can help him live an independent and meaningful life.

Tasks:

• Support with daily routines, such as household chores, cooking, laundry, and cleaning

• Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing

• Assistance with mobility/transfers

The client uses an electric wheelchair and also requires aids such as a floor lift, shower chair, and respirator in his daily life.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

• Experience working as a personal assistant

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Other healthcare experience

Employment level: 2 hourly substitutes as needed

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
