About the workplace

Unnerödskolan 4-6 is located in northern Uddevalla. The school is a primary school for grades 4-6, which in spring semester 2026 will have 220 students distributed across 9 classes and an after-school care unit. The school leadership consists of the principal and the deputy principal. There are 20 pedagogical staff members at the school. We have a good collaborative culture here and support each other.

In addition to the pedagogical staff, there is a student health team consisting of a counselor, special educator, special needs teacher, school nurse, school psychologist, and the principal.

At Unnerödskolan, we strive for every student to feel the desire to learn and develop knowledge and skills in all subjects to succeed in further studies. We also work to help students develop their social competence, creativity, and sense of responsibility, showing consideration for others and feeling valued.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for two new employees for the following positions:

• One position in grade four: Swedish, Social Studies, English.
• One position in grade six: Swedish, Mathematics, Science, and Music. We also envision music teaching in grade four. We are flexible in this regard.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching.
• Responsibility for planning and conducting teaching in smaller groups.
• Formative and summative assessment, including grading.
• Mentoring students and conducting development conferences.
• Collaborative learning together with teachers and other pedagogical staff.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are structured, communicative, have an easy time building relationships with both students and guardians, and have experience working pedagogically with children in the middle school age group.

Qualifications

• Teaching license with eligibility for grades 4-6
• Meritorious to have experience working as a teacher in grades 4-6
