About the job
Do you want to make a difference for people who really need it?
On the Functional Support Team at Lindholmen, Hisingen, we are looking for a registered nurse to join our dedicated and cross-professional team. Here you will have the opportunity to combine your medical expertise with a person-centered approach, building long-term relationships with patients and making a real difference in their daily lives.
As a nurse with us, you work with individuals up to 65 years of age who have congenital or acquired disabilities and live in supported housing. Many of them also participate in day activities. Your work is varied, independent, and meaningful, where you meet patients with different needs, ranging from preventive care to more complex medical interventions.
What you will do:
- Work person-centered: you become an important person in the patients' daily lives and contribute to their independence and quality of life.
- Develop your competence: we offer ongoing training in functional support, psychiatry, and habilitation.
- Work in a cross-professional team: together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and care staff, you create creative and sustainable solutions for the patients.
- Plan your own workday: you have great freedom to organize your work, with support from colleagues when needed.
- Work primarily during daytime: you follow a base schedule with mainly daytime hours Monday–Friday, combined with some weekday evenings and every fourth weekend.
What you get from us:
- A secure and developmental work environment: we offer an individually adapted introduction, a supervisor for new employees, and ongoing competence development.
- Flexibility and balance: we value that you feel good both at work and on your free time.
- Strong collegial support: we have close cooperation in everyday life, and you have many experienced colleagues to seek support and supervision from if needed.
- Fresh and modern premises: we operate from new premises at Lindholmen, with good transport connections, proximity to the river, and nice lunch spots where you can take a pleasant break with colleagues.
- Opportunity to influence: your ideas and competence are valued in a team where everyone has room to contribute.
Welcome to a team where you make a difference every day!
About you
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, both experienced and newly graduated, with an interest in working with people with disabilities. A B-class driver's license is also a requirement, as we work within a large geographical area.
As a person, you need to be:
- Independent: you can make decisions within the framework of your assignment and are calm and confident in pressured situations.
- Responsible: you take responsibility for your own and joint tasks with the patient's best interest in focus.
- Team-oriented: you enjoy working in a team and contributing to common goals.
- Communicative: you can adapt your information to the patient's needs and situation.
