About the job

The cardiac care within Region Halland focuses on improving our processes, increasing accessibility, and making care even better for our heart patients. Outpatient and inpatient care collaborate closely, and as a nurse on department 41, you work in a team together with nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors.

We are now looking for two nurses: one for 80–100% with shifts scheduled for day/evening/weekend, and one nurse for weekend duty.

About the workplace

We have 20 care beds, where we treat patients with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Four of our beds are cardiac intensive care units (HIA), where patients requiring a higher staff density and specific medical and nursing interventions are treated. You will receive extra training to work on the HIA.

Most of our patients are monitored with telemetry. As a nurse on our department, you are responsible for telemetry reading, which gives you in-depth knowledge and understanding of arrhythmias.

We have day-care activities where we perform electrical cardioversion, pacemaker operations, and PCI procedures, and we collaborate closely with our nurse-led clinics.

About you

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in emergency care and cardiac care.

As a person, you are ambitious and professional in your role and have a strong patient focus. Since we constantly work in teams, good collaboration skills are very important. You have a positive attitude, are flexible, and have the ability to prioritize. Personal suitability is given great weight.
