The Role

We are currently looking for a high school teacher to teach Natural Science, Social Studies, and History at our school unit in Mariestad.

In this role, you will plan and teach in the subjects of Natural Science, Social Studies, and History. You will also participate in the school's development work and hold a mentorship position. The role involves close collaboration with your colleagues at the school.

The position is a permanent part-time to full-time employment, depending on the subject combination. Start date is August 2026.

Vänergymnasiet Olins Mariestad is located in central Mariestad with a view of Lake Vänern. Here, the scent of freshly baked bread meets the faint hum from the workshop.

Vänergymnasiet became part of Olinsgymnasiet in the summer of 2022 and is therefore now called Vänergymnasiet Olins Mariestad.

Your Experience

You have a teaching license with eligibility to teach Natural Science, Social Studies, and History.

To succeed in the role, you are a confident and clear leader who can create structure in the classroom, while also having the ability to inspire and spark engagement. You value collaboration and are driven by developing teaching together with others.
