We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area covers 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are approximately 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, and our area offers varied nature with both sea, mountains, forest, and lakes.

Recovery Ward Uddevalla

The department belongs to the AnOpIVA clinic and is distributed between Uddevalla Hospital and NÄL.

At the recovery ward in Uddevalla, post-anesthesia care is our main task, involving patients from both planned inpatient care and day surgery. The unit also has a MIG (Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery) and stabilization assignment, and the operations are conducted Monday to Friday. We work closely with our colleagues at NÄL, so work at both hospitals may occur as needed. There are also employees who rotate more permanently between our units to further strengthen their competence!

About the Position

We are now looking for a nurse for the recovery ward at Uddevalla Hospital.

We are looking for you who have an interest in postoperative care and enjoy variety and a fast pace! You have previous nursing experience and are ready for the next challenge, or alternatively, you want to gain experience from emergency care as a step towards reading your specialist education either in anesthesia or intensive care. Perhaps you are already a specialist in the field?

We offer individual competence development. There are good opportunities to participate in and/or lead improvement and development projects on the ward.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse or specialist nurse who is ready for the next step in their development! As a person, you are forward-looking, positive, and have a good attitude towards collaboration with patients as well as colleagues. You are stress-resistant, flexible, and thrive working both independently and in a group.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
