Rehab City Lidingö is part of Rehab City. We collaborate with our sister clinics in the city, Rehab City Östermalm and Rehab City Norrmalm. In total, we have about 85 employees.

Here in Lidingö, we are about 28 employees consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, chiropractors, speech therapists, social workers, nursing assistants, and administrators. We are located in nice premises in Torsvik, near the base of the Lidingö Bridge, about 2 minutes by bus from Ropsten metro station.

The Neuro Team at Rehab City Lidingö offers rehabilitation in Lidingö, Östermalm, and Danderyd. Seven people work in our neuro team: two occupational therapists, one speech therapist, three physiotherapists, and one social worker.

The Neuro Team is a crucial link in the care chain for patients with stroke, acquired brain injuries, and other neurological diagnoses. Job Description:

As a social worker in the neuro team, you will primarily work with supportive conversations together with patients and relatives. You also have an advisory role regarding societal interventions and guide patients and relatives to the right help.

Rehabilitation is planned together with the team, the patient, and relatives. The work consists of assessing and rehabilitating patients together with team members or independently, primarily in the patient's home. Supervision of students is also part of your assignment. Documentation takes place in Take Care.

We drive electric cars to most visits, but we also have access to bicycles and sometimes walk.

Employment Type:

Fixed-term position, 80% August–December 2026.

Lower percentage of employment can be discussed.

Start date according to agreement.

Qualifications:

• Healthcare social worker, preferably with a license
• Category B driver's license is required as we travel by car to home visits
• Experience or interest in working with neurological patients
• Since you work in patients' homes, you must not be overly sensitive to pets, smoking, strong odors, and other allergens that may be present

In patient-related work within Stockholm County Council:

- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
