Are you a senior social worker within child and youth authority enforcement? Do you also enjoy investigative work and want to contribute your experience and knowledge at a more overarching level? Then this role might be for you! Within the Area Management for Children and Young People, there is a support function consisting of two method developers and two transition social workers. They assist the management group in, among other things, the transition to the new legislation and other development of the operations. We are now expanding this group with additional positions – two senior social secretaries whose task is to provide the five units with more support and relief in their practical work.

Your role

As a senior social secretary, you will work on time-limited assignments at one unit at a time to support and relieve them in authority enforcement for the age group 0-20 years. The role involves that you can be the main responsible for cases or co-handlers and also have a role where you provide enhanced support to social secretaries in planning their work. This is to ensure quality and legally secure handling.

Your competence and experience

For this position, it is required that you have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work/Sozialpädagogik).
• Several years of current experience from the social services' area of children and young people within authority enforcement.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience working according to the Signs of Safety approach.

You are confident and stable in your professional role and act professionally. You are self-reliant and take responsibility for driving and structuring your tasks in an efficient manner and keeping timeframes. You have pedagogical ability and adapt your way of conveying messages to the recipient and follow up. You are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You have a holistic perspective, understand your role, and at the same time consider the best of the entire operation in your actions.
