Description
The Centre for Psychiatry Research (CPF) is a collaborative organization between the Stockholm County Council (SLSO) and Karolinska Institutet (KI). CPF is responsible for conducting and developing research, teaching, and development within clinical psychiatry in Stockholm County. We currently have approximately 500 employees located in pleasant premises at Norra Stationsgatan 69 in Hagastad. At the request of the Health and Medical Care Administration (HSF), CPF provides psychiatry with a knowledge team in insurance medicine. The team you will join consists of six people, including care developers, senior physicians/specialists in psychiatry, an education administrator, and a specialist/researcher in insurance medicine. The team has been in existence since 2019.
We are now looking for you who want to work as a care developer in our knowledge team within Insurance Medicine, focusing on spreading knowledge about insurance medicine in psychiatry. The position is located within the Continuing Education Section, a unit that develops and conducts continuing education at the Centre for Psychiatry Research. The position is a project appointment at 40% for one year, with a start date as soon as possible. For the right person, there is an opportunity for extension.
Responsibilities
Personnel in psychiatry need stable and coordinated continuing education and development support from educators and care development leaders who have a psychiatric perspective, in-depth knowledge of insurance medicine, as well as scientific and pedagogical competence. The work as a care developer involves:
- Designing and implementing various forms of continuing education activities.
- Mapping the continuing education needs of psychiatric clinics regarding insurance medicine.
- Assisting psychiatric personnel with ongoing, targeted support based on needs.
- Driving networks with, among others, physicians responsible for the unit's insurance medical quality, as well as individuals functioning as rehabilitation coordinators.
- Developing support documents that facilitate and contribute to quality assurance of local insurance medical work.
- Participating in the creation and development of new policy documents based on existing regional guidelines.
- Being represented in various interest groups focusing on insurance medicine.
Qualifications
We prefer that you have a strong clinical background and professional experience, such as a physician, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, psychologist, nurse, or social worker. Experience from psychiatry is preferred, but adjacent areas such as primary care or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency are also relevant. Furthermore, you should have a strong interest in insurance medicine.

Conditions
The position is a project appointment at 40% for one year, with a start date as soon as possible. For the right person, there is an opportunity for extension.
The position is subject to the condition that it does not need to be filled by internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
In patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination according to current directives, which is conducted through the occupational health service before employment.
- Swedish professional licensure is required, along with good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
