Welcome to Närhälsan Heimdal Health Centre – a workplace where we not only make a difference for our patients, but also for each other! Here, we work closely together in a safe, supportive team of approximately 30 colleagues – district doctors/ST doctors/AT doctors, nurses, district nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, psychologists, and child health service nurses – all with big hearts and dedication. About the Job

Your duties at the health centre are varied, with the patient in focus. The work consists, among other things, of independent work in the laboratory with sample collection and controls, assisting doctors with wound injuries and simpler operations, and performing common examinations, such as blood pressure measurement and ECG. Work areas such as wound dressing changes, suturing, and responsibility for your own clinic may also be included.

You will work both independently and in a team with other staff categories at the health centre. Ordering supplies and preparing examination rooms are part of the daily work. We work in the medical record system Asynja Visph. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.

About You

• You have documented education as an assistant nurse (undersköterska).
• You have previous experience working at a health centre as well as venous blood sampling.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience with wound dressing changes, suturing, blood pressure measurement, and running your own assistant nurse clinic.
• Supervisor training is desirable.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. The workload is varied and sometimes high, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize your tasks and be flexible.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

The position is for a fixed-term employment of 3–6 months. You who are interested in hourly employment only are also welcome to apply. You indicate in the selection questions which type(s) of employment you are interested in.

As of July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" (undersköterska) became a protected professional title.
