Description

The Centre for Psychiatric Research (CPF) is a collaborative organization between the Stockholm County Council (SLSO) and the Karolinska Institute (KI). CPF is responsible for driving and developing research, teaching, and development within clinical psychiatry in Stockholm County. We currently have around 500 employees and are located in pleasant premises at Norra Stationsgatan 69 in Hagastaden. Job Responsibilities

As Unit Manager, you are responsible for the unit's budget, employees, and work environment. You have good operational knowledge of educational administrative procedures at both SLSO and KI.

The responsibilities include guiding employees regarding educational administrative procedures. A large part of this involves planning the course budgets for education, drawing up agreements, and paying remuneration to lecturers and course coordinators, certifying invoices, managing purchase requests, and maintaining the annual calendar. You will also, together with SLSO's procurement unit, drive the procurement of teachers/course coordinators and lead the educational administrators in the implementation of the Competence Hub and the registration of courses. The assignment also includes close collaboration with CPF's communication team and other managers to enable clear marketing of our courses in, among other places, CPF's course catalog and the Competence Hub.

You will receive a management delegation both from the Region and from the Karolinska Institute, as well as handle personnel responsibility in both of these organizations. You will belong to CPF's staff, be attached to CPF's management group, and be part of CPF's manager group as well as the CNS Education Board and the CNS administrative group.

 

Qualifications

  • An academic degree, preferably within healthcare or public administration.
  • Experience and interest in educational administration.

Conditions

You will be employed in your basic profession with a managerial appointment for three years with the possibility of extension.

The position will be filled subject to it not being needed for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
