About the role

As the organization is in a major phase of development and change, and we have several ongoing projects, we need to strengthen our team. You will be part of a payroll team that provides service and advisory support to our customers. The Property, Support and Services division develops processes and solutions that make it easy for our customers within the Region of Västra Götaland to focus on their core operations.

About the job

You will contribute as a payroll consultant by:

• Providing support via phone and our case management system regarding schedule, payroll, and contract questions.
• Registering and performing quality controls in the payroll process.
• Drafting employment contracts and certificates.
• Conducting training and information initiatives.

About you

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education within payroll administration. Alternatively, you have other education that, together with experience in payroll administration or similar, is assessed as equivalent. You have experience working with payroll-related matters and are accustomed to providing customer support via phone. Your digital competence is good; you find it easy to understand and learn to work in different systems and with digital working methods.

As a person, you are engaged and self-initiating, taking responsibility for your own development while contributing to the team's success. You thrive with change and are ready to take the initiative to improve both yourself and the unit's working methods. We value good collaboration skills highly, as you will work closely with your colleagues, and you have a great ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with colleagues, other units, and customers. Furthermore, you are flexible and find it easy to reprioritize. You are structured and orderly so that work and quality controls are done correctly. Our organizational language is Swedish, which means you need to master the Swedish language both in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the payroll system Heroma as well as case management systems. It is also an advantage if you are accustomed to understanding and interpreting contracts and regulations.
