The clinic is located in Rinkeby center, just 16 minutes from Stockholm Central Station, and is part of a family center where we collaborate closely with other professional groups and actively participate in various development areas within the municipality.

Organizationally, we belong to Midwife Clinics Stockholm North within SLSO (Stockholm County Healthcare). The organization comprises a total of 14 midwife clinics, divided into four clusters that collaborate closely. Our clinics stretch from Märsta in the north to Kungsholmen in the south. Each unit manager is responsible for 3–4 clinics, and in total, we have around 70 employees within the organization.

About the position:
At the clinic, midwives work together with doctors and the unit manager. As a midwife, you are primarily responsible for the woman, but also for the child, the family, adolescents, young adults, and older women. The work includes routine tasks such as:

- Pregnancy checks

- Parental support

- Pap smears

- Physical and digital visits related to sexual and reproductive health

- Home visits, initial postpartum care at home

- Your assignment also involves leading, developing, and evaluating different groups – something you see as an exciting opportunity.

Qualifications:
We are now looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights.

Merits:
Experience in maternal healthcare work and supervisor training is meritorious. Familiarity with the medical record systems Obstetrix and Take Care.

Employment type:
Permanent position. Full time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday. Probation period may apply. Start date according to agreement.

In patient-related work within Stockholm County Healthcare:

- Register control is applied before decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control at employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.

- Requires, in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding regarding non-licensed staff with patient contact.
