About the Vacant Position

You will work independently within a team, meeting patients across all diagnostic groups. Together with other specialist nurses, you will work with medical follow-ups, assessments from a nursing perspective, and treatment. You will also spend a few days per week working as a care coordinator. This involves telephone advice, handling cases in 1177, and acute visits. Once you feel confident with the clinic's boundaries regarding neighboring care providers, you will also conduct basic assessments for new patients. There is an opportunity to focus on specific patient groups or treatment methods based on your experience and knowledge.

The role includes individual patient contacts where collaboration with relatives and other resource persons is included. We would like you to be interested in digital working methods, as we work extensively with self-monitoring, form services, and digital care meetings. About Us

The Adult Psychiatric Clinic in Alingsås is part of the Psychiatry Business Area at Södra Älvsborg Hospital. The clinic serves the catchment areas of Alingsås and Lerum municipalities with approximately 80,000 inhabitants. Thanks to its location, the Alingsås clinic has excellent communication opportunities. Approximately 60 people work here in the professions of nurses, doctors, pharmacists, care assistants, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, secretaries, as well as coordinators and ward managers.

At the Alingsås psychiatric clinic, we investigate and treat most psychiatric conditions, which provides great variety and constant opportunities for deepening knowledge and learning new things. The work group generally has high competence, and several are specially trained. The group consisting of 13 nurses has a wide range and mix of experience levels. Approximately 60% are specially trained and 40% are basic trained. Many have worked at the clinic for a long time, and there is a high level of collective competence in the group.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, and you are welcome to be specially trained in psychiatric care. You need to have at least one year of experience as a nurse, and it is a requirement that you have worked in psychiatric care. You should enjoy working in a team and have a genuine interest in psychiatry. You are confident in your professional role. As a person, you are calm, curious, innovative, open to collaboration, and contribute to creating a good atmosphere and helping others. The ability to share and utilize your colleagues' competence is highly valued, as our team is characterized by strong engagement. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
