Are you a senior accountant (we require 5 years of experience), between assignments and available for a new role starting either in June or August? We are now looking for an experienced accountant for a consultancy assignment with an established company in Stockholm. The assignment is for 6 months (initially 3 months with very good opportunities for extension by another 3 months).

We are looking for you who are available for new assignments and who thrive working independently.

About the Role

In this role, you will become an important part of the finance department, responsible for daily accounting tasks with a focus on accounts receivable and ongoing bookkeeping. You will join a team that needs reinforcement and support, so we are looking for someone who is confident in their skills, works independently, and wants to join a role where your presence makes a real difference to your colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Management of accounts receivable and payments
• Cash flow management and bank transfers
• Bank reconciliations
• Handling of mispayments and investigations
• Preparatory work for year-end closing
• Reservations and ongoing accounting work
• Investigations of balance sheet accounts
• Contact with internal and external stakeholders
• Documentation and process improvement

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Has extensive experience with accounts receivable and closing processes
• Has very good Excel skills
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English
• Is self-motivated, responsible, and confident in your professional role

It is an advantage if you have experience from the finance, leasing, or other regulated industries, as well as experience working in NetSuite or similar systems.
