The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschool, compulsory school, upper secondary school, adapted compulsory and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes lifelong learning for all children and students, working towards the goal of "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be". We place great emphasis on working closely with operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Blåklintskolan is a school for grades F-6, centrally located in Mjölby with proximity to both the library, swimming hall, and green areas. Approximately 485 students and 65 employees meet daily at Blåklintskolan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a Leisure Center Teacher (Lärare i fritidshem), you will plan, teach, and develop the leisure center's operations. Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to create an stimulating and educational environment for the students.

Based on the operation's goals, leisure center teachers work in collaboration with other positions to create good pedagogical activities aimed at promoting children's learning and development, as well as inspiring children to new discoveries and interests.

The role includes collaborating with the school's educators during the school day and contributing to students' learning and development. Teaching in crafts, art, physical education, or music may become relevant. You also have a task in creating a recess activity that invites activity and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

A teaching license is required for the position. Experience in teaching is desirable.
