One of our two team leaders will now be on parental leave, so we are looking for a new colleague. Is that you?

Social support and livelihood are organized into two complementary units - The Unit for Investigation and Processing is responsible for investigating the right to financial assistance, while the Unit for Sustainable Livelihood works with support measures that strengthen the individual's path toward self-sufficiency. Close collaboration between the units is central to the work.

On the Unit for Sustainable Livelihood, 18 social secretaries work whose task is to map, support, and motivate individuals applying for financial assistance on their path to self-sufficiency and an independent life. The daily work is led by two team leaders, and the unit also employs an administrator who relieves the manager, team leaders, and social secretaries of certain administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

As a team leader, your main tasks consist of leading and distributing the daily work in your work groups. A large focus is placed on coaching and supervising the social secretaries so that they can best work to help our clients achieve self-sufficiency.

As a team leader, you ensure legally secure processing and make decisions according to delegation. You are responsible for regular service reviews with the social secretaries and lead both group meetings and other types of forums.

Collaboration is a large part of the work as a team leader, as you need to collaborate with other team leaders and coordinators in the area, as well as with other partners to ensure our operations function and develop. You will be the face of the unit and work to ensure that our unit and the work we do are on the agenda.

As a team leader, you are a link between the area's management group and our employees, and you will therefore work to implement the organization's goals in daily work. Based on this, it is important that you can engage the group and that you have a positive attitude toward operational development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another academic education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with financial assistance and leading groups.

Since collaboration with other actors is a large part of our work, it is an advantage if you have experience from some of our partners, such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and/or other authorities within social services.

To thrive as a team leader, you need to be confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. It is important that you enjoy making your own decisions while it is also important that you can create participation and security among employees.

We see it as a given that you can engage the employees in your groups. Likewise, that you have the ability to see what different employees need to develop and do good work.

As a team leader, you need to be flexible and have good administrative and organizational skills. You also need to appreciate that no day is like the other.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
