At Finngösa/Galaxen Service Housing and Support, we are looking for a new colleague!

As a support assistant here, you will provide our residents with individually tailored support in their daily lives, as well as encourage and assist with leisure activities. The work involves basing your efforts on the resident's needs and wishes, which lays the foundation for individualized support in the user's everyday life. Your work contributes to ensuring our users can live as independently as possible.

Nursing care is included in the duties, along with quality assurance in the form of social documentation, implementation plans, and routines. You will collaborate with users, their relatives, guardians, and staff in other operations. Key words in the work are motivation, structure, networking, documentation, meaningful daily life, and collaboration.

The job is suitable for you if you can work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a support assistant education, a vocational diploma from the Care and Nursing Programme or the Child and Youth Programme, education in social/pedagogical work, or equivalent education that the employer deems comparable. You have at least one year of experience working with people with intellectual, mental, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities, preferably as a support assistant within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations.

As a person, you are responsible and have a respectful attitude with the user's best interests in focus. You adapt easily to the individual and the situation, have good collaboration skills, and a pedagogical approach. You are flexible and responsive in your working style and can contribute to a positive work climate. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Good to know

To be called for an interview, a passing grade in Swedish 1 at the upper secondary level or equivalent must be presented. If this is missing, you will be required to take a digital language test.

Your new workplace

Finngösa/Galaxen Service Housing and Support is one of Partille Municipality's LSS housing units. The apartments are adapted for persons covered by the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. Here live 19 people who have their own apartments. At Finngösa/Galaxen Service Housing and Support, we work with situation- and activity-adapted methods. With continuous review of staffing, space is created for both spontaneity and extra touches in life. A working method that both staff and users enjoy. Finngösa/Galaxen also provides housing support for 50 users around the municipality according to the Social Services Act.
