The Education Department is responsible for preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. Responsibilities also include student health services, mother-tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. We work to create an inspiring learning environment for approximately 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision of building knowledge and creating dreams.

The Workplace

At Söderslättsgymnasiet, we offer 10 national programs, as well as introductory programs and adapted upper secondary school. The school is located across two units, S:t Nicolai and Bastionen. Each program primarily belongs to one unit, but teaching may take place at both units. We want students to develop self-awareness, self-confidence, and a desire to seek and absorb new knowledge. In Trelleborg Municipality, we also have the opportunity to offer our specially skilled teachers various career paths, such as team leader or lead teacher.

We at Söderslättsgymnasiet are looking for a teacher in Law who will be part of the Economics program. You are welcomed by a team with broad competence and strong cohesion! Responsibilities

As a teacher, you work to support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their prerequisites. You conduct teaching in Law and related subjects on the Economics program, as well as Law as an individual elective. You work as part of a teaching team based on the curriculum for upper secondary school. This means that together with the principal and colleagues, you lead and develop the school's operations to increase goal achievement. You contribute to a educational and developmental study environment that inspires students on their path to graduation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified upper secondary school teacher in Law. The position requires that you have good knowledge of the school's mission and are well-versed in the upper secondary reform Gy25 as well as other regulatory documents. You have the ability to adapt your teaching to the students' level and make the teaching interesting and relevant for them.

You thrive as a teacher, have good subject knowledge, are secure in your professional role, and put the student's learning and development at the center. You are creative, like to try new paths, and can motivate students to want to learn more. As a person, you are development-oriented and have good communication skills. You find it easy to build good relationships and collaborate with others.

Furthermore, you take responsibility for your tasks and work structurally by planning, organizing, and prioritizing in an appropriate manner. You engage with current research and dare to think new thoughts. You see collaboration as a natural part of your work and are open to receiving feedback from both colleagues and management to improve your teaching. You thrive in an environment that places high demands on responsibility and flexibility.
