The LSS Housing Section is part of the Care Administration and is responsible for implementing all housing decisions according to the LSS Act. Currently, 12 unit managers work within the section, and now we are looking for you who want to become part of our team!
The section's work is based on our values, where we start from the equal value of all, respectful treatment, and the importance of everyone's participation and self-determination. In every meeting with the individual, our approach should be characterized by professional support measures in accordance with the LSS legislation, where trust in the individual's own ability to develop and take responsibility is high.

Job Responsibilities
As a Unit Manager within LSS, we offer you an exciting, independent, and varied job where good collaboration skills are required both internally and externally. You work in accordance with legislation, guidelines, and other steering documents as a basis. Your role includes operational and personnel responsibility, where you are expected to lead, plan, and develop the operations from a holistic perspective on quality, economy, and goal achievement. The work also includes external collaboration in the form of contact with users, relatives, and representatives. You are part of the section's management group and have close cooperation with fellow unit managers and the section manager.
The section has group leaders who support the unit manager function but also participate in the staffing and work groups of the units. They support, among other things, with scheduling, staffing issues, and some other administrative tasks at the units. We also offer central support functions within, among other things, economy and HR.
Qualifications
Required for the role:
- University degree from the social work program or other higher education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment
- Experience and knowledge of the target group within LSS and the intentions of the LSS legislation
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Experience using computers as a work tool
- Several years of managerial experience
- Experience working in a politically governed organization
- Category B driver's license

Meritorious Qualifications
- Experience working as a manager within the LSS area of operations
- Experience driving change work
- Documented leadership training
Terms of Employment
The recruitment concerns a permanent full-time position with immediate start according to agreement.
