Do you want to make a real difference for children and young people? We are now looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker for the Family Home Centre in Borås Municipality. Here, you will have a key role in creating safety, stability, and long-term solutions for children placed in family homes.

The Family Home Centre actively works to develop operations and increase the number of own family homes. Our team includes child welfare officers, family home officers, pedagogical coordinators, senior social workers, and unit managers, creating a strong and competent whole.

• regular external supervision
• group development through GDQ measurements

As a Senior Social Worker, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Social Worker (First Social Worker). In your role, you will introduce new employees and supervise social workers. You will also handle some of your own cases or act as a co-handler in more complex cases. Great emphasis will be placed on developing the operations.

We are looking for you who have:

• a degree in Social Work
• several years of experience in authority enforcement within child and youth services (at least 5 years)
• valid driver's license (Category B)
• experience in leadership (meritorious)
• training in Signs of Safety and MI (meritorious)

You are a secure, clear, and responsible person who thrives on creating structure and development in a complex operation. You have good judgment, can prioritize, and make decisions even in challenging situations. We are looking for someone who is flexible and development-oriented. You work in a structured and methodical way and find it easy to collaborate and create a good working environment. For this role, we consider it important that you can build long-term relationships and that you value quality and careful documentation.
