Job Description
We are looking for you who want to work as a home support worker (boendestödjare) in Support Team 4. This is a small team of four employees who primarily work with more complex cases to help the individual manage their daily life. You support with contact with authorities and healthcare, structure, plan, and exist for the individual in a more flexible and innovative way.
No day is the same here, so you need to be adaptable to changes in daily plans, able to prioritize, and think on your feet. Everyone we work with needs support in coordinating the various actors involved in their daily lives.
The work group is based on Arabygatan in Växjö, and in our work, we meet individuals with different needs for pedagogical and social support interventions. We have the task of strengthening the individual's ability to live an independent life and possess broad knowledge regarding mental disabilities. Our work is always based on experience and consideration.
As a home support worker, you will work both independently and together with colleagues to provide support to individuals with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as ADHD. The support is designed and planned individually together with the individual. The interventions are both practical and pedagogical in nature and are carried out in the home and the immediate environment. You are a social contact who creates security through your approach. The duties may also include support with household chores and participation in leisure activities, such as exercising at the gym.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree from the Care and Nursing Program, Child and Youth Program, or other equivalent education of 200 vocational higher education credits or 120 higher education credits. We would appreciate that you have experience working with people with disabilities, knowledge and experience in working with low-affective handling, and managing aggressive situations. You also have good knowledge of Swedish society and its various functions. For example, helping care recipients apply for financial assistance or other interventions.
As a person, you are flexible, responsive, treat others with warmth and respect, and thrive in a role where your work contributes to the well-being of others. You must be able to work independently, take initiative, and at the same time collaborate with the rest of the staff towards common goals. We also see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and computer skills.
Personal suitability is highly valued. A B-driver's license is a requirement, and you must also be able to cycle.
