Ahlsell is looking for a Technical Specialist for Smart Storage Solutions, with the possibility of working from Gothenburg, Jönköping, Växjö, Halmstad, Helsingborg, Lund, or Malmö. In this role, you will install, commission, troubleshoot, and develop smart storage solutions, vending machines, and RFID-based systems for some of Sweden's leading industrial companies. You will work closely with customers, train users, provide technical support, and contribute to long-term reliable solutions. Your responsibilities

As a Service Technician for Smart Storage Solutions in Southern Sweden, you are responsible for ensuring that Ahlsell's solutions function optimally throughout the entire customer journey. You will, among other things:

• Install, configure, and commission smart storage solutions and vending machines at customer sites
• Perform service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and updates of hardware and software
• Work with RFID readers, user systems, and network equipment
• Provide technical support to customers, users, and internal functions
• Train customers in systems, functions, and methods
• Support specialist sales and local sales organizations before, during, and after delivery
• Document installations, service cases, and technical solutions
• Contribute to the development of new methods and technical solutions
• Collaborate with suppliers, internal specialists, and Nordic colleagues

Worth knowing

You will become part of Ahlsell's central team for Storage Concepts within the Industry Division and report to the Concept Manager Storage Solutions. The team consists of technical specialists, specialist salespeople, and coordinators who together drive the development of the area forward.

The role is based from home office and involves regular customer visits, installations, and service efforts. The geographical focus is on Southern Sweden, starting from the area around Gothenburg, Jönköping, Växjö, Halmstad, Helsingborg, Lund, and Malmö. We therefore welcome candidates from all of Västra Götaland, Halland, Småland, and Skåne.

Travel and overnight stays occur as a natural part of the work in connection with installations, service cases, and customer projects. The position is a permanent full-time employment, and you will work closely with both customers, suppliers, and colleagues in Sweden and the Nordics.

Our expectations

We believe you have experience from technical service, field service, technical support, automation, industry, or other operations where you have worked practically with installation, troubleshooting, and customer-oriented problem solving. You feel comfortable in technical environments and have an easy time getting into new products, systems, and solutions.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to appreciate taking personal responsibility and be comfortable planning, prioritizing, and driving your work forward on your own. You have a natural customer focus, build trust through your way of collaborating, and are motivated by finding solutions that create value for both customers and colleagues.

We also believe that you are curious, proactive, and want to develop together with the business. Experience with RFID, IoT solutions, and system integrations is particularly meritorious as these areas are close to the solutions you will work with in the role. However, experience with access control systems, networks, or electronic troubleshooting is also seen as valuable merits. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and hold a B driver's license.
