The responsibility of the Care and Elderly Care Administration is to provide care, support, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as to their relatives. The role and responsibilities

In the role of handyman/maintenance technician at our Care and Elderly Care Administration, you will be part of a team consisting of three other handymen and a facility coordinator. You will work closely together and cover the entire administration.

You are responsible for all operations within the portfolio, meaning you do not work against a single specific building but go where the need arises. Together with the other handymen, you support the operations by creating a safe and well-maintained environment for both staff and our citizens.

Your main tasks include:

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance of premises and buildings.
• Handling service requests from employees and operations, where you independently prioritize and solve problems in a professional manner.
• Assembling and disassembling furniture.
• Moving ceiling lifts.
• Repairing hospital beds.
• Working on a roaming/ambulatory basis.

You who apply to us

You have completed upper secondary education or post-secondary education in, for example, crafts, carpentry, or property maintenance.

Other requirements

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license, as a company car is used in the job.

Merits

• Experience with inspections and basic knowledge of property maintenance and construction work.
• A few years of experience working as a handyman or within property maintenance.
• Experience working as a handyman in municipal operations, preferably within the Care and Elderly Care Administration.
