Coordinator for Team Young – ESF Project in Tranemo Municipality
Do you want to have influence and be involved in the development work at your workplace? Then you are welcome to Tranemo Municipality. Here we work for a strong sense of belonging and encourage influence and participation. We offer good leadership and favorable working conditions. We deliver services with good service and high quality and are looking for engaged employees who want to help build Tranemo's future.
Do you want to develop new ways of working?
Do you want to be part of developing new working methods that strengthen young adults' opportunities for work, studies, and an independent adult life?
On September 1st, Team Young starts, a new ESF project in Tranemo Municipality. Team Young is a cross-professional team where the activities in the municipality that meet and provide support to young people and young adults participate. The purpose of Team Young is to strengthen collaboration and coordinate efforts to create good opportunities for an independent adult life and establishment in work or studies. The project targets young people and young adults aged 18–29 who are neither working nor studying. We are now strengthening the team and are looking for a coordinator who wants to help develop individualized interventions and establish working methods to coordinate support around the individual.
Are you the one we are looking for?
1 position(s).
Job Responsibilities
As a coordinator, you will work proactively, empowering, and motivating. You will be responsible for individual support measures for young people/young adults and offer group activities to the target group together with other staff in our activities. Relationship building is an important part of your assignment. In your role as coordinator, you will function as a Case Manager and be the hub in the network, following the young person/young adult on their journey toward independence. You are responsible for coordinating the team around the individual and following up that planned interventions are carried out.
The position is organized within our employment activity STARTA. You will simultaneously be part of a smaller project team and collaborate with the municipality's regular activities such as authorities, open care, school, labor market unit, and daily activities. Collaboration will also take place externally with, for example, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and healthcare.
Working in a project means assembling the puzzle while you work. This means there will not be a complete job description, clear tasks, or established routines and collaboration structures when you start working. Part of the project is to create these based on the target group's needs.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a social pedagogue or have other education or competence that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with young people and young adults, preferably with NPD diagnoses, mental health issues, or other problems that may affect establishment in work or studies.
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
- Coordination or organization of interventions around individuals
- Work in collaboration between different activities and authorities
- Labor market or employment issues
- Motivational Interviewing (MI), ACT, or other equivalent methodologies
- Documentation, follow-up, and project work
To thrive in the role, you need to be structured, flexible, and initiative-taking. You have a good ability to create trusting relationships, work independently, and simultaneously collaborate with many different actors. Since the project is in a startup phase, it is important that you enjoy developing working methods, finding solutions, and contributing to building the activity together with others. Since the work requires documentation, you need to master Swedish well in speech and writing.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
A B-driver's license is a requirement.
Employment Terms
- Salary: Monthly salary.
- Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
- Duration: 6 months or longer.
- Working Hours: Daytime.
We will have employment interviews continuously during the application period. The advertisement may be removed during the process if the recruitment is completed.
At the interview, you need to present a passport, national ID card, or personal certificate showing Swedish citizenship. You can easily download the personal certificate via skatteverket.se
If you are not a Swedish citizen, you need to show documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.
By law, we as employers have the opportunity, when recruiting for certain positions, to request extracts from the criminal and suspicion registers.
We strive for an even gender distribution and see diversity as a strength, therefore welcoming applicants with different backgrounds.
In connection with the recruitment work, we have taken a stand on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore expressly decline contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
We use e-recruitment to streamline and quality-assure the recruitment process. All your information is saved on your CV account, and you can easily log in and update your information when you want.
