We are now looking for more colleagues for our new team of social secretaries at the Citizen Service Centers in Järva. Together with other colleagues, you will help shape and drive our decentralized operations with a focus on transitioning to a more accessible social services system. Part of this transition involves having a clear entry point with drop-in services, counseling, and guiding citizens to the right interventions. You will be organizationally part of Citizen Service in Husby, but work at all three citizen service centers in Järva. This is because we are developing the work with a clear entry point and plan to start up the working method in Tensta and Rinkeby as well.

Your role

As a social secretary with a generalist assignment in Järva, you will work in a team that meets residents with varying needs – from counseling, guidance, and early interventions to coordination and needs orientation. This is a relatively new position, which means you will have the opportunity to influence the content and development of the assignment together with your colleagues in the transition work based on the new Social Services Act.

Your tasks will include among other things:

• Receiving and establishing contact with individuals and families via our entry point in Husby, as well as helping to start up and develop the work at the citizen service centers in Rinkeby and Tensta. This means you will work on-site at the different citizen service centers.
• Conducting affiliation assessments and initial needs mapping to guide further to the right support or intervention within social services operations.
• Work in a team-based manner together with colleagues with different competencies (adults, children & youth, addiction, substance abuse, domestic violence).
• Inform about and guide to interventions without needs assessment, such as support for relatives, support via the Domestic Violence Center, and parent counseling.
• Identify cases that need to be transferred to the second line of social services for more extensive interventions.
• Collaborate with external actors such as police, healthcare, schools, civil society, and labor market actors.
• Contribute to the development of working methods, digital accessibility, and an efficient flow between the first and second lines of social services.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work degree).
• Current experience and knowledge of work within social services, authority enforcement, and preferably experience and knowledge in preventive and early support interventions.
• Education in and experience of working with the method Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked within Stockholm City.
