LBS Creative Upper Secondary School Malmö is now looking for a School Nurse!
LBS Creative Upper Secondary School is part of AcadeMedia, one of the largest private education coordinators in the Nordics. We operate throughout the entire education chain, from preschool to adult education. Our employees have different assignments and competencies, but share a strong focus on quality and development. We help our children, students, and participants develop and reach their goals, and we are therefore looking for you who want to be part of making Sweden a little better.
Your assignment
The Student Health Service's assignment is to support students' development towards the goals of education, primarily through health-promoting and preventive work.
As a school nurse, you bring nursing competence and medical competence as support in the work with students' learning. You follow AcadeMedia's guidelines for the Student Health Service's medical interventions and participate in the school's student health work by:
- identifying symptoms early during health conversations that may indicate a need for extra adjustments or other interventions
- investigating and assessing the physical and mental health of individual students, sometimes as a basis for the school's investigation work and when drawing up action plans
- collaborating with others to increase knowledge about a healthy lifestyle among students and to be a support in teaching related to this
- contributing knowledge about risk and protective factors for students' health, social situation, and learning
- offering time for spontaneous visits where simpler healthcare interventions are provided
- offering vaccinations according to the general vaccination program for children
As a school nurse, you are part of the school's Student Health Team and collaborate closely with school management, the Student Health Team (EHT), teachers, guardians, and authorities outside the school. The assignment also includes participating in the school's development work as well as the joint development and quality assurance work within the medical Student Health Service.
The work requires that you are secure in your professional role, can work independently, are proactive, and have a good ability to see opportunities in different situations. As support in your work, you are part of AcadeMedia's network for school nurses, led by a medical operations manager.
Your profile
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse. You are interested in working with preventive health work and developing a modern school nurse assignment. You have good interpersonal skills, can build trust with young people, have good ability to plan and prioritize, and can be flexible in situations that require it. If you have previously worked as a school nurse or have experience in health-promoting work with children and young people, we see this as very positive. Experience with the digital journal system Prorenata is meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Our offer to you
We offer all our employees continuous competence development through AcadeMedia Academy as well as internal and external professional development. With us, you naturally receive collective agreement benefits and insurances, as well as a generous wellness allowance, pension counseling, staff discounts, and the opportunity for favorable purchases through net and gross salary exchange.
The position is a part-time employment with a scope of total 40 %.
A probation period of 6 months applies. Start date is by agreement.
Application and contact
Apply as soon as possible via our recruitment system as selection and interviews take place continuously, but no later than 2026-06-30. Appointment may take place before the last application date.
