About the Role

This is a role for you who want to be close to the operations and believe that the most interesting challenges lie at the interface between production and design. You will work with everything from deviation management and root cause analysis to the development of manufacturing methods, work instructions, and production processes.

Here, products are built that combine mechanics, sheet metal processing, welding, electronics, and control technology in an advanced manufacturing environment. As a Production Technician/Engineer, you play a central role in developing processes, supporting production, and driving long-term improvements. At the same time, the company is in a phase where it wants to take the next step in its improvement work by becoming even better at working systematically, proactively, and long-term. This is where you will have an important role.

Responsibilities

As a Production Technician/Engineer, you work close to production every day and provide technical support to the operations. You become a key link between production, quality, and design, contributing to the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of advanced products.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Drive production technical improvements with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Support production with deviations and root cause analyses.
• Participate in work related to customer, supplier, and internal deviations.
• Identify root causes and ensure that long-term actions are implemented.
• Develop work methods, manufacturing processes, and work instructions.
• Work on improvements within sheet metal processing, welding, assembly, and electrical installation.
• Collaborate with the design department regarding product development, manufacturability, and design changes.
• Participate in and drive improvement projects according to LEAN principles.
• Contribute to the development of a more systematic and long-term approach within production technology.

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Have a few years of experience from the manufacturing industry.
• Have good ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English.

You have likely worked in a production where sheet metal processing, welding, assembly, or electrical installation has been a natural part of the operations. You do not need to be a specialist in all areas, but you have a good technical understanding and enjoy solving problems together with the production team.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are curious, analytical, and solution-oriented. You like to understand why problems occur and are motivated by finding sustainable solutions rather than quick fixes.

You thrive with many contact points, are good at collaborating, and feel comfortable moving between production, design, and quality in your daily work.
