Your Role

As a Personal Assistant in Nacka Municipality, you will support and strengthen the client's ability to live an independent life based on their individual needs, interests, and conditions. This includes everything from personal hygiene and care to activities and actively working towards a meaningful and stimulating life. The work is varied, and you will primarily work with one client. The duties also include some documentation.

You will work according to a schedule, and working hours vary depending on the client, but can include days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Naturally, you will receive an introduction before you start working.

Your Experience

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• Turned 18 years old
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good physical fitness

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience in healthcare, elderly care, personal assistance, or child and youth activities
• Completed education or currently studying healthcare, elderly care, or child and youth activities with a focus on pedagogical or social work
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Experience with documentation and computers

Is this you?

As a person, you are loyal, responsible, receptive, and committed to providing good service. Since you usually work alone, it is important that you are independent, possess personal maturity, and have a genuine interest in working as a personal assistant. You need to be flexible and solution-oriented.

About Us

The Care & Assistance Service is a municipal operation working on behalf of the Social Services and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in Nacka. The service offers support and assistance to adults, children, and young people with disabilities within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and SoL (Social Services Act).
