Treatment Coordinator for Youth with Complex Needs
We are a company with a hundred-year care tradition behind us, having developed a good reputation for meeting and supporting each individual with high quality to utilize and develop their resources. Fogdaröd is an economic association run without individual profit interest. Instead, we are driven by a commitment to provide care and support that we can all be proud of.
We at HVB Gästgården are now looking for a therapist to join our team. We are currently in an exciting phase where Fogdaröd prioritizes developing high-quality care and treatment using evidence-based methods at our HVB facility. Just as important as working based on the values above, we value doing this with engagement and soft skills towards our youth, commissioners, guardians, and each other within the work team.
We receive youth aged 12–15 with psychosocial issues. Our target group is broad and may involve outwardly aggressive behavior, lack of emotional regulation skills, or a lack of a safe environment at home. Many of our youth have some form of neurodevelopmental disorder (ND/NPF), anxiety issues, and traumatic life events. We receive referrals from social services across the country. We offer a safe and home-like residence with individual treatment based on implementation plans and individual goals.
Our psychological treatment is based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Our goal with the treatment is always to increase functional behavior and skills, as well as to create a valuable existence for our youth. This is to increase the conditions for giving the youth opportunities, strategies, and resources for the future after the placement ends.
HVB Gästgården is beautifully located in a park with proximity to nature. In the adjacent forest, there are beautiful waterways and exercise trails that contribute to an active leisure time. We also have outdoor and indoor gyms on the premises that the youth have the opportunity to use. We also go on excursions that take us around all of Scania.
Do you want to work closely with youth with complex needs and be an important part of their change journey?
