We are currently looking for a secure and operational accountant who can contribute from day one and is used to working broadly within finance.

About the assignment

This is a short-term consulting assignment that serves as a bridge to an ongoing recruitment process. The assignment is expected to start in early August and last for approximately 2 months. It is an advantage if you have the possibility to start the introduction a few days before the summer holiday.

About the role

In this role, you will work broadly within the finance area with a focus on both accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as other ongoing financial administration. You will become an important part of the finance function where the pace is high and tasks are varied.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

• Booking of supplier invoices
• Setup of new suppliers
• Handling of reminders
• Processing of payments
• Follow-up and reconciliation
• Ongoing contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Accounts Receivable:

• Customer invoicing
• Booking of payments that are not matched automatically
• Follow-up of unmatched payments

Suitable background

We are looking for you who have experience working as an accountant in a broad role, where you are used to handling several parts of the financial flow in parallel. You have worked with ongoing accounting and have a good understanding of the entire financial process, including both accounts payable and accounts receivable. Since this is a short-term assignment, it is crucial that you can quickly adapt to new ways of working and organizations. Furthermore, you are comfortable working in an environment with high tempo and large volumes, and you easily adapt to new systems and ways of working. If you also have experience with the financial system Xledger, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Personal qualities

To succeed in the role, you are independent, structured, and confident in your competence. You have good prioritization skills and thrive taking own responsibility in a broad role with varied tasks. Furthermore, you are communicative and service-oriented, with a good ability to collaborate with both colleagues and external parties.
