General psychiatry continues to develop, and we are now looking for a medical secretary who wants to be an important part of our team. Here, you will work with dedicated colleagues in new, beautiful premises in the Psychiatry House, with the possibility of remote work.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who want to have an important role in a operation where structure, quality, and collaboration are crucial for the whole to function. As a medical secretary here, you are a central part of the team and contribute to creating good conditions for daily work. You are trained as a medical secretary or healthcare administrator and have good knowledge of the Swedish language as well as medical terminology. Training in diagnostic coding and good knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic are considered meritorious.

What you will work with

As a medical secretary here, you will have a varied and developmental role where you contribute to creating structure, quality, and well-functioning flows in daily work – while simultaneously becoming an important part of the team. The tasks include, among other things, documentation in the medical record system Cosmic, diagnostic coding, DRG grouping, telephone contact with care partners and authorities, and other administrative tasks such as handling functional mailboxes and referral management. You will work within several parts of psychiatry's operations, such as acute psychiatric care, inpatient care, addiction clinic/LARO, and eating disorder clinic. The role also includes documentation of involuntary care decisions, which is a central part of psychiatry.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime hours, starting as agreed. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the final application date.

The position is within psychiatry: Based on the nature of the operation and safety requirements, applicants to our operation must be prepared to provide extracts from the criminal record register.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
