About the role

Are you technically inclined and looking for a rewarding part-time job alongside your studies? We can offer you an exciting opportunity with our client, Westermo, in Eskilstuna.

At Westermo, you will work in a flexible production environment where tasks vary from day to day. Your responsibilities will include surface mount technology (SMT) assembly, circuit board assembly, final assembly, as well as testing and packing of finished products. The work is shift-based, meaning you need to be flexible regarding working hours. The planned start date is late August or early September. This is a long-term part-time position, and we would prefer that you can work continuously throughout 2027, and ideally until the summer of 2028.

Main responsibilities

• Electronics assembly of small components, picking, pre-assembly, and assembly.
• Inspection, soldering, and repair of circuit boards, testing, programming, and packing.
• Active participation in improvement work.

About you

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and currently studying at a university or college, with the possibility of working part-time throughout your studies.

As a person, you are meticulous, dexterous, and have an eye for detail, as the work involves handling small components. You are engaged, responsible, and have a positive attitude towards work. You thrive both working independently and as part of a team.

Relevant technical education or previous experience from industrial operations is considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Another main occupation of at least 50% (such as studies).
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license and access to a car.
