Your Role

We are now looking for a Head of Information Security who is responsible for the information security aspects within the JAS 39 Gripen as well as other Aeronautics products, such as GlobalEye. We do not manufacture ordinary consumer products. We develop fighter jets where operational capability and tactical capacity are crucial for the defense of our national borders and our democracy!

The Information Security area is responsible for security governance within the framework of European Military Airworthiness Requirements as well as additional customer requirements. The main responsibility is to ensure that the classified information in the aircraft in operation is correct and only accessible to authorized persons, systems, or processes – and is not disseminated to unauthorized parties.

As Head of Information Security, you lead a group of approximately 10 engineers and specialists working on information security for the entire aircraft. You are part of the area's management group, which consists of 6 other managers who work closely together, supporting and learning from each other.

In this role, you are responsible for coaching your employees and giving them the best possible conditions to work efficiently. You are result-responsible for the unit's deliveries and responsible for ensuring on-time delivery with high quality.

Some of your areas of responsibility:

• Contribute to efficient working methods and streamlined processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within own permits
• Drive continuous learning and idea development in the team
• Personnel responsibility, including leadership, coaching, budget, and staffing
• Responsibility for work planning and process control

Your Profile

You have a genuine interest in people and their driving forces, are responsive, and have a natural ability to build and maintain relationships.

We would like you to have:

• A Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• Several years of experience working in large projects and complex products
• Experience in information security and/or system security
• Leadership experience
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
