About Svenco

Svenco Papperssäckar AB is a family-owned company currently run by the fourth generation. Since the 1970s, all our manufacturing and administration have been located in Arlandastad.

We manufacture environmentally friendly paper food waste bags and waste sacks – products that play a vital role in Sweden's waste management and the transition to a more sustainable society.

We currently have nearly 30 employees. We are proud of our strong team spirit and the fact that many employees choose to stay with us for a long time. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to help develop the business together with us.

About the role

As a mechanic/technician with us, you will have a varied role where you combine practical work with technical problem-solving.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operation of our machine lines
• Preparation of raw materials
• Machine setup and adjustment
• Quality control
• Troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Preventive and periodic maintenance

If you wish to develop further, there are excellent opportunities to take greater responsibility within mechanical maintenance, improvement work, and more advanced technical projects.

We also have our own mechanical workshop in the factory, which allows much of the maintenance and repair work to be carried out directly on-site.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine technical and mechanical interest who enjoys solving problems.

You are engaged, responsible, and have a natural ability to collaborate with others. At the same time, you thrive working independently when the situation requires it.

We would appreciate if you have:

• A technical or mechanical background, through education or work experience
• An interest in machines, technology, and maintenance
• Good problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn new things and develop together with the company

For us, the right attitude is at least as important as previous experience.

Working hours

We work in two shifts according to the following schedule:

Morning shift

• Monday–Thursday: 06:00–15:00
• Friday: 06:00–16:48

Afternoon shift

• Monday–Thursday: 15:00–24:00

This means you have every other Friday off.

Due to the shift pattern, we prefer that you live in the local area.
