We are now looking for a Press Operator for our client in Ljungby.
Your responsibilities
In the role of Press Operator, you will play a central part in the production process. Your main tasks will include pressing materials according to drawings and schedules. You will set up, rig, and adjust tools and programs to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. A key part of the job is also material handling, where you will use a forklift to transport materials safely and effectively.
Quality control is another important responsibility, where you will carefully perform checks according to drawings and instructions to ensure that all products meet the required standards. You will work operationally with the press, meaning you will monitor and run the machines to achieve the best possible results. In addition, you will be responsible for general machine maintenance and other related tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a technical interest and preferably experience working with press machines. You should be familiar with reading drawings and have an eye for detail. You are responsible, meticulous, and thrive both working independently and collaborating with colleagues.
We want you to have a clear sense of order and enjoy working independently. You are responsible, flexible, and positive. You will work in a team, where you are collectively responsible for ensuring that pressing is carried out according to the schedule.
The work is arranged in two shifts or night shifts. A valid forklift license is a requirement for the position, as well as good skills in reading technical drawings.
