We are looking for skilled and motivated technicians to join our Prototype Department. We are seeking individuals with a broad technical understanding and a strong desire to develop. The department is responsible for building prototypes, test vehicles, and pre-series cars using the company’s latest technologies and designs. We also support the implementation of new car models on the production line.
Responsibilities
• Perform vehicle builds, repairs, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot vehicles.
• Prototype components.
• Perform quality control of components.
• Support testing activities.
• Drive continuous improvements in the workshop.
• Follow up on build hours and work closely with the Workshop Manager and Coordinators to reduce time and cost.
• Ensure that all work orders are closed in a timely manner.
• Work actively in Monitor. All completed work shall be registered in Monitor.
• Report any identified faults to the nearest manager.
• Take an active role in the development and improvement of the product.
• Write ECR reports for faulty parts.
• Maintain logs and report progress on completed work and tests.
• Work independently on all vehicle models, both in the workshop and in the field.
• Qualified automotive technician with strong vehicle knowledge.
• HV Level 3 certified/trained.
• Excellent time-management skills, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and the ability to work under pressure.
• Committed to health and safety guidelines, with pride in maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Ability to document build records, inspection findings, potential design improvements, and engineering change requests.
