As a Kitchen Assistant at Leksand Summerland and Leksand Resort, you will become an important part of the kitchen team ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will work closely with our chefs, assisting with preparations, simple cooking tasks, and keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for the day's guests. The pace can be fast, but together with your team, you create order, job satisfaction, and great dining experiences for thousands of visitors every day.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in the kitchen with preparations and simple cooking tasks
• Prepare ingredients, set up salads, and replenish buffets
• Keep kitchen surfaces clean, organized, and hygienic
• Support the kitchen and restaurant with picking, dishwashing, and other tasks as needed
• Follow routines for food hygiene and safety

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives in active, fast-paced work where you can jump in and help where needed. You are meticulous, efficient, and good at following routines, especially regarding hygiene and food handling. You enjoy collaborating with chefs and colleagues but are also confident working independently when required. Since the role involves close collaboration with the kitchen and service staff, as well as some guest contact, you must speak fluent Swedish and/or English.

Working hours vary according to the restaurants' opening hours, so work may take place during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends. The position is a seasonal employment of 50-100%, and the summer season runs from June to August. Salary and other terms are in accordance with the collective agreement with Vista-HRF Green National Agreement.

The amusement park Leksand Summerland in Dalarna is a real adventure for families with children during the summer. Behind the gates awaits a large selection of activities and attractions. Some of our most popular attractions include the Wipeout track in Siljan, Laser tag, High ropes courses for all ages, and of course, our Waterland with heated pools and winding water slides. Our 250 summer staff welcome up to 6,000 guests per day.

Leksand Resort's five-star family campsite is located among pines in a lush tranquility right next to Lake Siljan, adjacent to Leksand Summerland. At Leksand Resort, there are plenty of fun activities for the whole family, restaurants, kiosks, a shop, and relaxing amenities with attractions nearby. On a night in July, we host up to 4,000 overnight guests during the peak summer season.
