Job Description

AFRY has successfully supported both Swedish and international energy producers for many years, and we are now expanding further into this exciting and growing market!

Nuclear Nordics focuses on nuclear power, where assignments within reactor safety, safety analyses, and technical investigations, as well as project management, are part of our daily routine. We hold a unique position of trust in our market, and often work in very close collaboration with our customers who are currently planning for both new builds and lifetime extensions!

We are now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for consultancy assignments within the nuclear power industry, primarily in Sweden but also with international opportunities. The base of operations is Gothenburg or Varberg.

As an Electrical Design Engineer with us, you will work on everything from feasibility studies, investigations, new design, modifications, extensions, and inspections. The projects vary in size and content. They are carried out either on-site with our customers or "in-house" in our own facilities. We offer stimulating work with challenging assignments in a great team!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent within electrical engineering and automation, and have at least 3 years of qualified professional experience in electrical design within the industry. Furthermore, you have experience with CAD design, preferably with Elmaster or Eplan.

To succeed in the role, you are comfortable taking responsibility for both detailed and system design. If you have previous experience from the nuclear power industry with a focus on plant and system knowledge, it is an advantage.

For the position, a B driving license is required, and you must be flexible as travel is a natural part of your role. Since you have extensive contact with both customers and colleagues, you need to be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Since the position operates in security-classified areas, you will undergo drug tests and security checks before employment can begin.
