Job Description

Do you want to help build the future way of handling and structuring requirements? We are looking for a Requirements Tooling Engineer – a key person who drives how we work with requirements, tooling, and structure, from the ground up and forward.

This is not a traditional requirements role. You will not just write or review requirements – you will shape the entire system around them.

About the Role

Here you will get a hybrid role where you combine several competencies:

• Requirements Engineer
• Tooling Developer
• Systems Thinker

You will:

• Build and improve tools and structures for requirements management
• Ensure traceability and quality throughout the entire requirements flow
• Automate and streamline how requirements are created, validated, and used
• Create a clear link between requirements, implementation, and testing

You work hands-on with tools and structure, not as a Product Owner (PO) or Project Manager.

Qualifications

Must-have Requirements (Non-negotiable)

1. Requirements & Structure (Hands-on)

You have experience with:

• Requirements breakdown
• System requirements and specifications
• Traceability

You work operationally – not just at a high level.

2. Requirements Tooling (Critical Part)

You have experience with at least one of the following:

• Sphinx Needs (meritorious)
• SystemWeaver
• DOORS
• Jama or similar

And you have actively:

• Set up
• Structured
• Improved

This is one of our biggest development areas.

3. Python & Scripting

You can:

• Build your own tools
• Automate requirements flows
• Validate data

You use Python as a tool for structure and automation.

4. Systems & Configuration Thinking

You have worked with:

• System configuration
• Properties / parameters
• Consistency validation

This is important for building sustainable and scalable requirements management.

5. Understanding of Development & Testing

You understand:

• How requirements are used in implementation
• How they are verified and tested

You can connect the entire V-model.

Strongly Meritorious

• Experience with Sphinx + Markdown + PlantUML
• Built requirements portals or documentation solutions
• Worked with automated traceability
• Background in automotive or embedded systems
