About the assignment

At Novare, we are a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking an interim manager to act as interim group manager for housing supply at our client, a government agency in Stockholm.

In this role, you will lead, plan, and monitor operations with a focus on efficiency and quality. You will have overall personnel responsibility for a team of five employees.

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader who is skilled at structuring work, taking ownership, and motivating staff. We value someone with a natural ability to engage and develop a team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and monitor operations.
  • Hold personnel responsibility for the team members.
  • Manage budget follow-up and resource planning.
  • Ensure operations are conducted efficiently and with high quality.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees in their daily work.
  • Drive and monitor ongoing development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Report to the Section Manager for Premises and Housing Supply.

Your qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least three (3) years of documented managerial experience with personnel responsibility.
  • Documented experience in budget and operational responsibility.
  • Experience leading administrative, service-oriented, or administration-related operations.
  • Very good oral and written proficiency in both Swedish and English.
  • Available to start the assignment no later than August 10, 2026.
  • Ability to provide two similar professional references.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience from universities, colleges, or other government agencies.
  • Knowledge and experience in housing supply, property management, or rent administration.

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time from August 10 to February 28, 2027, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the agency in Stockholm, with some possibility of remote work.
