If needed, we will train you when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training takes place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality manager.

Job Description

You will work at Setra Skinnskatteberg, which will also be your base of operations. Working hours are currently two-shift Monday-Friday with a rotating schedule and a working time of 38 hours per week. Your tasks consist of bark check inspections as well as other common tasks at the measuring station, such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and maintain ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work shall be performed through our values, that is, in a reliable, impartial and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working in practical tasks and in digital systems, as well as being able to communicate clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A prerequisite for the position is that you have a B-class driver's license and access to your own car.

Desirable/Qualifying

Forestry knowledge and experience of timber measurement are considered meritorious, as well as the ability to communicate in English, but this is not a requirement.
