Support Pedagogue for Group Home Solsidan in Bromölla
Bromölla municipality in northeastern Skåne, at the border with Blekinge, has nearly 13,000 inhabitants. We have the advantages of a small municipality with proximity and short distances both geographically and between people. Here, there are good communications, a praised business climate, and a vibrant cultural and leisure life. The municipality is surrounded by beautiful and varied nature with proximity to both lakes and the sea. Bromölla is close and surprisingly good.
We are now looking for a support pedagogue for our group home Solsidan in central Bromölla.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a support pedagogue, you will be part of the daily user-centered work in all relevant tasks. The work includes care work combined with pedagogical tasks. In addition to these, you will promote an increased pedagogical approach in the operations.
As a support pedagogue, you should be able to gather and transform evidence-based knowledge and practice to professionally analyze and structure pedagogical methods. In daily work, you are expected to work salutogenically, focusing on the user's needs at the center, together with the entire workgroup.
Working in a group home is a mix of care, guiding conversations, and being involved in the whole around the user. We prefer that you have a genuine interest in developing yourself hand in hand with us as an organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements for the position:
- Education as a support pedagogue or social pedagogue
- Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS.
- Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Experience in documentation.
- Experience in clear communication, low-arousal responses, and NPF.
- Driver's license B
It is important for us that you are comfortable taking significant responsibility in your work and can collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other people around the user. You should strive to develop a safe everyday life for our users together with your colleagues, which is why it is important that you can see the user's perspective and adapt your working methods accordingly.
We are looking for someone with the right personal qualifications to meet the individual in their everyday life. You have an interest in working with people and need to be able to work closely with our users, including personal hygiene. You have a good demeanor, are responsible, have an easy time collaborating, and are flexible in your work.
It is essential to be able to work both independently and in a group, follow routines, decisions, and action plans with the users' best interests in focus. It is a prerequisite that you can work with both women and men.
Solo work as well as day, evening, on-call, and weekend shifts occur. The position may also require working in other services within disability care. We are moving forward to support each other's operations and be able to work in a more flexible way.
