About You

For this position, we are looking for a licensed X-ray nurse who has a strong interest in people and technology.

Your Future Workplace

We are a small clinic with clear goals, and we are a service unit for other departments within inpatient and outpatient care, where we work flexibly for the patient's best interest, for quick and safe diagnostics. Our meetings with patients are usually short and structured.

The radiology clinic is modernly equipped, fully digitized, and conducts general radiological operations. In addition to conventional radiological diagnostics, we perform fluoroscopy, CT, two MRI machines (one 1.5 T and one 3 T), screening and clinical mammography, as well as ultrasound and aorta screening. We are regionally responsible for ultrasound aorta screening, which is performed by X-ray nurses.

The operations are mainly conducted during daytime (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), we are present until 8:00 PM every day and then have on-call services in the evenings, nights, and weekends from home. You will be welcomed into a team of 35 employees. For the clinic, it is self-evident to always work with the patient in focus and to provide our citizens with the best service and accessibility.

The Radiology department at Oskarshamn Hospital is an operation that has good results, which we are very proud of. Oskarshamn Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County and has over 400 employees. The hospital is a small facility with quick decision-making paths and close contacts between departments. Here you will find medical specialist care, radiology, planned surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is located near the center of Oskarshamn and close to the archipelago.
